Kylie Ohlmiller to Join Broadcast Team for the 2024 AU Pro Lacrosse Season
Kylie Ohlmiller will take on a new role for the upcoming Athletes Unlimited Pro Lacrosse season as the league’s sideline reporter and cohost of the weekly draft. She previously joined the Coastal Athletic Association as a color analyst for the 2022, 2023, and 2024 Stony Brook women’s lacrosse seasons.
Ohlmiller suffered an injury during offseason training in preparation for her third season with AU Pro Lacrosse. She competed with the league in its inaugural season and returned in 2023 after tearing her ACL in 2022.
“Although injury is keeping me from being a player with Athletes Unlimited this Summer, I couldn’t be more excited to still be on the field as a sideline reporter for Season 4. I’m so thankful to still have the chance to be with my teammates, friends, and some of the best athletes in the world — the only difference this time being on the sideline with a mic and maybe some fancier clothes,” Ohlmiller said. “I am eternally grateful to AU for providing me with the opportunity to further my broadcasting career and for supporting me as a player off the field as I navigate some challenging times.”
The fourth season of AU Pro Lacrosse begins on July 18 at USA Lacrosse Headquarters and will be broadcast on ESPN and Bally Sports. The Weekly Draft will stream live on YouTube each Monday night during the season.
“Tune in for what I’m hoping will be fun, passionate, and enjoyable conversations with the rockstars of this league. The atmosphere that surrounds professional women’s lacrosse is electric, and I am so pumped to still be a small part of it,” Ohlmiller said. “And though you might not see me with the usual eye black on this season, don’t worry – it’ll be back in action real soon. See you in Sparks!”
