Kayla Kowalik signs for AUX and Championship season with AU Pro Softball

Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball has signed catcher Kayla Kowalik for the 2024 season. Kowalik will compete at AUX in Wichita, Kansas from June 10 to June 25 and she’ll also play at Championship season in Rosemont, Illinois.

Kowalik enters her second year as a pro and first with AU Pro Softball. She signed to the USSSA Pride out of college and in her debut season was named the 2023 Women’s Pro Fastpitch Rookie of the Year. She hit .394 on the season, had a league-leading 14 stolen bases, and was named WPF All-Outfield.

She has also competed for Team USA at the 2022 Japan All-Star Series and Canada Cup.

Kowalik is a member of the 2023 College Draft Class after a history career at the University of Kentucky. She holds multiple UK records, including career runs scored (255), career triples (24), career batting percentage (.426) and career hits (344). She continued to stay connected to her alma mater as a graduate assistant for the 2024 season.

The fifth season of AU Pro Softball will return to Parkway Bank Sports Complex in Rosemont, Illinois this summer. Tickets are on sale now.
