Goalkeeper Paulina DiFatta signs for AU Pro Lacrosse Season 4
The goalkeeper made her professional debut with the league in 2022 after being selected in the 2022 AU Pro Lacrosse College Draft. She accumulated 770 leaderboard points during the 2023 season.
DiFatta finished her college career as at Pittsburgh after playing at Elon and Fairfield. She tallied 661 saves, a .493 save percentage, 148 ground balls, and 41 caused turnovers. She earned Second-Team All-Atlantic Coast Conference and IWLCA All-Region recognition in 2022. She led the ACC and ranked fourth in the country with 198 saves. DiFatta also led the ACC with 51 ground balls.
She set the ACC Tournament records for saves in a single game (19) and a tournament (37).
DiFatta owns the Elon single-season saves record with 160 as a sophomore in 2019. She was named to the Colonial Athletic Associate All-Tournament Team. At Fairfield, she was named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Rookie Team and set a Fairfield single-season record of 211 saves.
