Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball has signed Desi-Rae Young for the 2025 season in Nashville, Tennessee.

Young is a center out of Inglewood, California. She attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) and finished her four-year career as one of the most decorated players in program history. She is in an elite club as one of only two Lady Rebels to reach the 2,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds mark and is UNLV’s second all-time leading scorer with 1,987 points.

Appearing in 124 games and with 120 starts, Young’s name is in the top 5 of seven all-time categories helping the Lady Rebels to three straight NCAA Tournament berths. She is a two-time Mountain West Player of the Year, four-time All-Conference selection, and three-time Mountain West All-Defensive Team honoree. She made an impact from the moment she joined the program, earning the honor of Mountain West Freshman of the Year in 2021.

Young declared for the WNBA Draft in April this past year. She went undrafted and signed a training camp contract with the Phoenix Mercury; she was waived during the preseason. Young decided to undergo meniscus repair surgery on an injury that had nagged her throughout her collegiate career.

AU Pro Basketball will be Young’s first professional season.

The fourth season of AU Pro Basketball will run from February 5 to March 2, 2025, at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium. Tickets are on sale now.
