Basketball Season 3: Movers of Week 1
The 2024 season opened up with a dream team. Allisha Gray assembled an elite cast of picks at the Week One draft that went a perfect 3-0. Team Gray cashed in heavily on the win points and will now split up with three members of the squad as captains.
Here’s who and how they made it to the top after Week 1 of games.

Salute to Captain Lish
All credit goes to first-time captain Allisha Gray for assembling an undefeated team. Her squad not only won all three games but eight quarters too – the most win points of any team all week.
Gray sitting in the top spot includes a pat on the back for her personal performance too. She was the top stat point earner after recording the most field goals made (29), three-pointers made (12), and steals (8) to open up the season. She had an incredible weekend shooting, hitting 50% of her shots from the floor and 48% from three.

Oh and don’t forget MVP points. Gray was voted MVP 1 twice and MVP 2 to also lead that scoring system category.
Tiffany Mitchell: Making her presence known
No newcomer made a splash quite like Tiffany Mitchell. By game three you could ask yourself, “What can’t Mitchell do?”
She showcased the impact she makes on both ends, her ability to drive to the basket, and her effeciency beyond the arc. Of all athletes with 10 or more attempts, Mitchell had the best three-point shooting percentage sinking 7 of 12.

Her performances earned her MVP honors twice and the second overall spot on the leaderboard.
A little of this and that for Natasha Cloud
Natasha Cloud was the fourth-most stat point earner after Week One and picked up points in just about every way on the stat sheet.
Assists and two-pointers were her bread and butter. Cloud dished out 26 assists in three games (second in the league) and made 14 two-point shots on 23 attempts.
She also had 15 defensive rebounds, five steals, and three blocks.

Cloud will lead the blue team for her sixth career stint as captain at Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball.
Sims is no stranger to being a captain
For the seventh consecutive week in her AU career, Odyssey Sims will serve as a captain. She comes off of leading her gold squad to a 2-1 record where they won six quarters.
Sims is second in stat points only to Gray. The most lucrative way she earned points in Week One was through assists; she leads the league in the category with 33.
Odyssey Sims is running this offense like the captain she is.
