AU Pro Basketball Season 4: Week 1 Draft Dots

• Guards Sydney Colson and Evina Westbrook are serving as team captains for the first time in their Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball careers … Colson and Westbrook become the 17th and 18th captains in the league’s four-year history. 
• Newcomers accounted for eight of the first 11 picks in the Week One draft, including three of the opening five selections … Guard Odyssey Sims was the first AU Pro Basketball veteran picked in the proceedings, going to Team Bell with the No. 2 overall choice. 
• Forward Alissa Pili was taken with the No. 1 overall pick in the Week One draft, becoming the eighth player in AU Pro Basketball history to be selected first in a weekly draft.

• Guard Sydney Colson and forward Theresa Plaisance will be teammates for the third consecutive week dating back to last season … The duo wore the Gold uniform during Week Three last season before ending the campaign as members of the Purple squad.
• Forward Theresa Plaisance is a member of the Purple team for the fifth time in 10 career AU Pro Basketball weeks … She donned the Purple top in 3-of-5 weeks during the 2023 campaign before closing last year wearing Purple.  
• Guard Odyssey Sims is not serving as a team captain for the first time since the inaugural 2022 AU Pro Basketball season, snapping a streak of nine consecutive weeks as a team leader … Sims is the league’s all-time leader in games played as a captain (33) and wins as a captain (16). 
• Guard Odyssey Sims will also be donning the Blue jersey for the fourth time in her Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball career … It is the first time she has worn a Blue top since 2022 when she was on the Blue team in 3-of-5 weeks. 
• Guard Taj Cole will wear the Gold uniform for the third week in a row dating back to last season after being selected by Gold captain Isabelle Harrison in the fifth round in Monday’s draft … Cole wore the Gold top just once in her first two Athletes Unlimited seasons before the current three-week string. 
• Forward Isabelle Harrison and center Dorie Harrison will be wearing the Gold jersey for the first time in their Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball careers in Week One … In addition, the sisters are playing on the same team for the second time in two seasons after being teammates on Team Cloud in Week Three last season.
• Forward Isabelle Harrison is wearing the Gold uniform for the first time in her four-year Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball career. 
• Guard Tyasha Harris and center Victaria Saxton, who will open the 2025 AU Pro Basketball season on the Team Westbrook roster, are former South Carolina standouts who helped the Gamecocks reach the NCAA Sweet 16 in 2019. 
• Guard Jude Schimmel and forward Asia Taylor, who were selected by Blue captain Kierstan Bell in Monday’s draft, were teammates at Louisville and guided the Cardinals to an NCAA runner-up finish in 2013. 
• Guard Crystal Bradford will don the Orange jersey for the third time in her six-week Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball career after going to Team Westbrook in the seventh round during the Week One draft. 
• Guard Lexie Brown will wear the Gold uniform in Week One for the second season in a row after being chosen by Team Harrison in the third round of Monday’s draft, marking the only times she has worn the Gold top in her four-year Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball career. 
• Guard Sequoia Holmes will wear the Gold uniform for the fourth time in her five-week AU Pro Basketball career.
