Sam Apuzzo signs for 2024 AU Pro Lacrosse Season
Apuzzo, who claimed her third straight medalist honor in 2023, is the first athlete in any Athletes Unlimited sport to earn a medal in three seasons. The attacker tallied 1,667 points, leading the league in win points (985) and MVP points (360).

She set the league single-season record by garnering nine Game MVP awards. She served as a captain for all four weeks of competition, leading her teams to a 9-3 record. She also ranked second in goals (30) and tied for first in assists alongside Dempsey Arsenault (12).
Apuzzo enters her fourth season with AU Pro Lacrosse after playing at Boston College, where she was the 2018 Tewaaraton Award winner and two-time IWLCA and ACC Attacker of the Year (2018, 2019). She is Boston College’s all-time leader with 283 career goals and 397 career points.
She also represented Team USA at the 2022 World Lacrosse Women’s World Championship, where they won the title. She is also a member of the Lacrosse Player Executive Committee.
