# Athletes Unlimited (AU Pro Sports) > Athletes Unlimited is a Public Benefit Corporation that operates a network of athlete-led, player-centric professional women's sports leagues in the United States, currently spanning basketball, volleyball, and softball (via the Athletes Unlimited Softball League, AUSL). Founded in 2020, it also elevated women's professional lacrosse from 2021-2024. Its model gives athletes governance influence through sport-specific Player Executive Committees, profit-sharing, and a seat on the AU Board of Directors. Athletes Unlimited Pro Volleyball is paused for the 2026 season while the league is reimagined; AU Pro Basketball and the AUSL (softball, run in partnership with Major League Baseball) are active. The company's flagship domain is auprosports.com; softball/AUSL content lives on the separate theausl.com domain. ## About Athletes Unlimited - [Who We Are](https://auprosports.com/who-we-are/): Company mission, Public Benefit Corporation status, values (athlete-first, diversity, wellbeing, ownership/governance, civic engagement, fan access) and Advisory Board bios. - [The Creation of Athletes Unlimited](https://auprosports.com/read/the-creation-of-athletes-unlimited/): Origin story of the company, from its 2018 founding concept through the first softball and volleyball seasons. - [I Am Unlimited](https://auprosports.com/i-am-unlimited/): Brand campaign spotlighting athlete identity and voice, with athlete profiles and video content. - [The Champions Collection](https://auprosports.com/champions-collection/): Commissioned portrait series pairing each season's league champion with an emerging visual artist. - [Player Executive Committees](https://auprosports.com/player-executive-committees/): Explains the athlete-led governance body in each league and lists current committee members for basketball, volleyball, and softball. - [Press](https://auprosports.com/press/): Media coverage archive (general company press plus basketball- and volleyball-specific clips) and press inquiry contact. - [Facilities](https://auprosports.com/facilities/): Venues used by each league, e.g. Nashville Municipal Auditorium (basketball) and Liberty First Credit Union Arena / Alliant Energy Center Coliseum (volleyball). - [College Directory](https://auprosports.com/college-directory/): Searchable directory of AU athletes by the college/university they attended. ## Leagues - [AU Pro Basketball](https://auprosports.com/basketball/): League hub with news, standings, and current/past champions (2026 champion: Odyssey Sims). - [Athletes](https://auprosports.com/basketball/athletes/): Basketball roster/player profiles. - [Stats](https://auprosports.com/basketball/stats/): Basketball statistics. - [Leaderboard](https://auprosports.com/basketball/leaderboard/): Basketball individual leaderboards. - [AU Pro Volleyball](https://auprosports.com/volleyball/): League hub;
