Biography
Personal: Bradford would be a lawyer if she was not a basketball player. She has a yorkipoo (dog) named Hooper and enjoys bowling, cooking, spending time with friends, and music. As a child, she was involved in football, swimming, kickball, and baseball.
2023 Season: During her first Athletes Unlimited season, Bradford earned seventh place on the final league leaderboard with 5,419 points. She tallied 2,319 stat points to claim eighth place in the league and also notched 300 MVP points to secure a share of eighth place. She recorded 300 or more leaderboard points in 10 out of 15 games, including three outings with 500 or more points. Bradford posted a streak of five straight games with 300 or more leaderboard points from March 4-15. She set her season high with 581 leaderboard points against Team Harrison on March 22. As one of nine players to wear all four jersey colors during the season, she started in 11 of 15 games and ranked eighth in the league with a 14.9 scoring average. She set the Athletes Unlimited Basketball single-season record with 55 offensive rebounds and finished the season as the league’s second-leading rebounder with a 10.3 average and 154 total rebounds. Bradford also ranked third in the circuit with 27 steals and 13 blocked shots. She converted 45.9 percent of her field goal attempts and reached double figures in scoring in 13 of 15 games, including five performances of 20 or more points. She notched eight double-doubles, good for a share of third place among the league leaders, and opened the season with three consecutive double-doubles. She grabbed a season-high 14 rebounds three times, including the season opener against Team Cloud and season finale against Team Sims.
Other Professional Experience: Bradford was selected with the No. 7 overall pick in the 2015 WNBA Draft by Los Angeles. She appeared in 15 games with the Sparks during the 2015 campaign, averaging 2.7 points and 1.3 rebounds per outing. She saw action in 24 games with Atlanta during the 2021 campaign, tallying 8.8 points and 3.8 rebounds per game with the Dream and registering nine double-digit scoring efforts, including a 17-point performance against Seattle on July 2, 2021.
International Experience: Bradford was a member of the Gold medal-winning Team USA at the 2013 World University Games, where she netted 16 points in the Gold Medal game against Russia and also scored the game-winning basket against Australia in the semifinal.
At Central Michigan: Bradford was a four-year letter winner who played in 116 games at Central Michigan from 2011-15. She is one of three players in school history with 2,000 career points and ranks third on Central Michigan’s career ledger with 2,006 points. She is the only player in school history with 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds and stands second on the Chippewas’ career rebounding (1,140) and blocked shots (171) lists. She also owns the Central Michigan career record with 805 made field goals and is third in school history with 278 career steals, while her 384 assists are good for sixth place. She was a two-time All-Mid-American Conference First Team honoree who earned MAC Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year notice in 2014. Bradford also claimed Second-Team All-MAC recognition as a senior and was a two-time MAC All-Tournament Team recipient. She was named the 2013 MAC Tournament Most Valuable Player and led the Chippewas in scoring and steals all four years. She also paced the squad in rebounding and blocked shots during her first three seasons. Honored as CollegeSportsMadness.com’s Women’s Basketball High-Major Player of the Year after the 2014-15 campaign, she set the Central Michigan NCAA Tournament record with 36 points against Oklahoma on March 23, 2013, and also grabbed 14 rebounds with seven assists against the Sooners.
